Solosix

Well hi. It's been a while.

I'm not completely sure what my reason is for not posting in a while. It's more that 2 months went by without me even realizing it. And then I began debating if running an actual blog is even worth it these days or if I should just focus posting on instagram. And in the midst of that debating the company Solosix contacted me, and after seeing how amazing their stuff is I was able to make my decision to come back.

So I'm completely in love with this sweater. It's 100% Alpaca wool so it's super soft, and was inspired by 70s Olympic skiwear. I absolutely love the neckline and the stripes on the arms make it super interesting, while being easy to style. Solosix also places a lot of importance on knowing who is knitting their sweaters and making sure everything is ethically sound; which is a factor that has gotten more and more important to me the older I've gotten. This is definitely the type of clothing that you know is going to last you for years, which in my opinion is the best type of clothing. I truly believe in what this company is doing and represents, and I really urge you to check out their website and give them a follow on instagram!

Cool Blues

I absolutely love this dress from Motel. They know how to kill it when it comes to patterns and statement pieces. I usually avoid patterns but I love the true retro vibe of this one. Also I know this piece will be easy to transition into fall. If only I had a cool fringe suede jacket to throw over it...

Cowboy Casual

So I'm super into the fitted boyfriend jean right now (like these levi's) however I just can't afford to buy another pair of jeans right at the moment. I don't know if this ever happens to you guys, but whenever there is a trend I love and am dying to try I have a hard time putting together the clothes I have because I want a certain silhouette. So what I tried to do was get that boyfriend jean look with my mom jeans. Obviously the fit is very different, but I wanted to style them in a way that was still simple and boyish. What I ended up with I feel has a cowboy vibe to it, and I do not have a problem with that.
